Extreme Noise Terror - Nih Nightmare (G.I.S.M.)
I've designed album covers and layout for Extreme Noise Terror, Steve Ignorant, Phobia, Coldwar, Raw Noise, Abaddon Incarnate, Riistetyt, Coitus, Rattus and many more.
I also write for CVLT Nation and Profane Existence. Currently trying to write and illustrate a book on Irish mythology. Where I live is by an ancient burial mound in the mountains, which is a constant source of inspiration. If your looking for any artwork or layout design done get in touch.
This is a blog of ramblings, artwork, music, homesteading, DIY ethic and the mundane.

Extreme Noise Terror - Nih Nightmare (G.I.S.M.)
is is great, someone posted this on Facebook and it was too good not to share.
John Peel R.I.P, thanks to his sessions my record collection is all the better for it.
Phil Vane RIP two years ago today, I miss you my friend.
My first dealings with Phil was when a Mexican label asked me to do a cover for Extreme Noise Terror many years back. Then I got a message from Phil saying he hadn’t heard anything from them and was I still in contact with the label. This then led onto the ‘Back to the Roots’ release on Moshpit Tragedy in 2006. From then he phoned me one day about working on a design for a new Raw Noise ep, during the phone call I said I had to go to put the kids to bed. Where he was laughing saying he thought I was known as a crusty bastard, shouldn’t I be drinking homebrew! So after a while I ended up working on more of his projects Death Dealers (ENT + Anti Cimex), more Raw Noise and Extreme Noise Terror’s website, t-shirts and artwork again. So eventually we called each other once a week on Skype for about an hour. After my dad died, we had a heart to heart with both of us in tears about our fathers. It was very emotional, but good. Around then I had started this blog, so he would often pass comment if it was silly or interesting. So then a plan was a foot for Phil to come over and visit during the summer.
Then one day my brother-in-law told me he saw on Facebook Phil had died. It was strange, I Googled it and it came up on a search. I phoned him, emailed him, then started getting emails from labels asking was it true. Then I got an email from ENT, saying they were still trying to connect members of his family, but it had leaked on the internet. It was such a shock and surreal time. The internet has made life far too unreal at times.
Over on CVLT Nation I did a review of RE/VOLT’s (members of Extreme Noise Terror, Killing Joke, Gallows & Raw Noise) EP coming in 2013.
What a great cover version
