Last week we went on an amazing trip up to Donegal to visit Sean. He brought us all over the wild countryside to some incredible places.
These are a few of the 64 standing stones at Ciorcal Cloch na Bealtaine, the widest stone circle in Ireland. It is thought it was built during the pre-Christian Iron Age. There was also a stone head found here. One theory is that the circles were used as sanctuaries during battle where wounded warriors were brought to be healed.
Only looking forward to your next visit, the door is always open.
